New ROS 2 Open Source Release from Robotous (UART Model)

For those working with 6-Axis Force-Torque sensors in the ROS 2 ecosystem, Robotous has just released the ROS 2 Interface for RFT Series (UART Model).

This package provides a streamlined way to interface RFT sensors via UART and has been verified on Ubuntu 24.04 with ROS 2 Jazzy. It includes clear instructions for low-latency serial port configuration and a complete launch setup.

Coming Soon: The team is currently working on an implementation for the EtherCAT model as well, so stay tuned for that update!
